Pharmacist in Renton, WA

Provide expert pharmaceutical support in a fast-paced inpatient hospital setting with overnight shifts. This role emphasizes accuracy, clinical knowledge, and leadership within the pharmacy to ensure exceptional patient care.


Location: Renton, WA (Seattle area)


Schedule:

• 7 consecutive nights on, 7 nights off
• Approximate hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough order verification using Epic electronic health records
• Perform final product verification checks to ensure safe medication dispensing
• Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to healthcare staff
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician duties to maintain efficient workflow
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations as needed
• Utilize pharmacy systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication distribution and inventory management

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Washington State pharmacist license
• Immediate full-time availability
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is required
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and emergency protocols
• Proficient with electronic health record platforms (Epic) and automated dispensing systems (Pyxis)
