Must have recent pediatric cardiac experience. Willingness to float between units is required. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This position requires a strong background in cardiac care. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-acuity post-operative care, managing patients with congenital heart issues, and supporting heart transplant recovery. Experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation is essential. Nurses will work in a dynamic environment serving infants to young adults, focusing on both intensive and intermediate care. Weekend availability is required, with a commitment to covering six weekend shifts within a four-week schedule. The nurse must be adaptable to patient care needs and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess skills in administering medications, managing central lines, and performing phlebotomy as needed. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are expected. The ability to manage complex patient scenarios and deliver high-quality nursing care is vital.
