Surestaff is immediately hiring for a Forklift Operator for a manufacturing client in East Dundee, IL. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for an essential part of the client's core operations, ensuring that quality product is being received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner. Surestaff is invested in their team members! Positions are long-term temporary and offer competitive compensation ($20/HR.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 1st shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

• Operate an electric, sit-down forklift
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments inside the facility
• Perform picking/packing duties
• Label products and move them accordingly in the warehouse
• Keep forklifts and other material handling equipment in good condition

Required Qualifications of the Forklift Operator:

• Previous experience operating sit-down, electric forklifts
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. when needed
