Associate Attorney (California)

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury defense. This position provides substantial hands‑on litigation work, the chance to engage with high-profile national clients, and the ability to take on meaningful responsibility from the start. Key Responsibilities Oversees a varied litigation docket from initial stages through final resolution. Works collaboratively with partners and team members in a cohesive, supportive environment. Manages all components of litigation, including trial preparation, factual investigations, court appearances, mediations, and depositions. Delivers timely updates and strategic insights to clients through consistent communication and reporting. Qualifications J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school. Licensed to practice in California. Three to eight years of defense‑side litigation experience, ideally within Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, or Transportation matters. Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities. Proven skill in fostering strong client relationships and providing high-quality service. Prior experience handling complex matters and engaging directly with clients is highly valued. Able to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative work setting.
