Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) - 26 Weeks ContractThis is a 13-week contract position.Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)The Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide expert nursing care to adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced ICU environment. The nurse is responsible for managing critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular conditions, and must demonstrate a strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex intravenous therapies.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.Monitor vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage IV insulin protocols.Administer blood products and manage arterial and central lines.Care for ventilated patients and manage various acute conditions.Participate in self-scheduling and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Provide education and support to patients and families.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum 2 years of ICU experience required, specifically with cardiovascular cases.Current California RN license is required at submission.ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required (in-person courses only).Experience with open heart surgery and balloon pump management is essential.Completion of advanced EKG exam before start; onsite competency evaluation required.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
