Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• To be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, guest service, employee engagement, and optimum financial performance.

• To maintain the quality of service, facilities, equipment, and overall guest experience in accordance with Four Seasons operating standards and brand expectations.

• To prepare monthly financial, operational, and statistical reports for Hotel senior management, incorporating recommendations regarding Spa operations, market trends, competitive positioning, utilization, market share, and achievement of business objectives.

• To provide leadership, direction, coaching, and development opportunities to Spa employees, creating a highly motivated team that consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

• To effectively integrate the Spa within the Hotel's overall marketing strategy and ensure that Spa products, services, promotions, and operational updates are effectively communicated both internally and externally.

• To oversee all Spa staffing functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• To create, manage, and approve departmental schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage based on business volumes, productivity targets, and service standards while controlling labor costs.

• To manage payroll administration for the Spa department, including the review and approval of employee hours, commissions, gratuities, paid time off, overtime, and payroll adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• To oversee inventory management for all Spa retail products, professional treatment supplies, linens, amenities, and operational equipment, maintaining appropriate stock levels and minimizing waste and shrinkage.

• To administer procurement and purchasing activities for the Spa, including vendor management, sourcing, purchase order approval, contract review, and maintaining cost-effective inventory replenishment processes.

• To conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to established internal controls.

• To monitor and analyze retail sales performance, treatment utilization, therapist productivity, labor efficiency, and operational metrics, implementing action plans to improve performance where necessary.

• To ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements, maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees.

• To maintain the physical condition of the Spa and Fitness facilities through preventative maintenance programs and coordination with Engineering and Housekeeping departments.

• To actively engage with guests, solicit feedback, resolve service concerns, and continually identify opportunities to enhance the overall Spa experience and guest satisfaction.

• To perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Hotel management in support of the overall success of the property.

• Ideal candidate will have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or spa setting.
  • Spa Manager should have basic understanding of Microsoft applications, phone etiquette and Spa Soft systems.
  • Candidate must be guest focused and have excellent presentation skills
  • Communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred.
