Nurse Supervisor

The primary purpose is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development, maintenance and implementation of the facility's QAPI and Infection Control programs.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Complete accident/incident reports and investigations as necessary.
• Assist with completion of MDS and care planning processes.
• Perform Administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, assessments and documentation as necessary.
