The Department is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art employee services including talent management, professional development and organizational capacity, compensation, employee benefits, wellness and work/life balance, rewards and recognition, records management, employee relations, and human resource information systems that promote innovation and creativity. Position Summary
This position serves as a Classification & Compensation Operations Specialist which provides support for compensation, employment, and operational processes within UNC Greensboro. The role supports the administration of position management, compensation actions, pay and leave-related processes, and HR transactional activities while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, UNC System requirements, and University policies. The position also supports data analysis, reporting, testing, and process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. NOTE: This position is designated as hybrid, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week of in-person work at the assigned Greensboro office location. Minimum Qualifications

- Graduation from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management, or a related field.
- At least two to four years of experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS), such as: PeopleAdmin, Banner HR, LawLogix, HireRight, etc. is strongly preferred.
