System Administrator 1

System Administrator 1 – Responsibilities Provide Tier1 (Help Desk) and Tier2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. Support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes. Perform day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices and related hardware. Support the dispatch system and resolve hardware issues. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and maintain OS software, troubleshoot, ensure integrity and configure network components. Qualifications Strong understanding of Windows and Linux as an end user. Minimum five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution, or twelve (12) years of combined education and work experience (five (5) years of work plus seven (7) additional years). Compliance with DoD8570.01‑M, holding at least IAT LevelII certification. TS/SCI Poly clearance required. Compensation $130,000 – $160,000. Benefits Overview Health, dental and vision insurance.
