How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with site policies to help support a professional entry process at a fast‑paced technology location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed. Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or credential verification processes to help support authorized access and report unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting security‑related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
