About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead and mentor a global team in the development of a cutting-edge AI-driven offensive security platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, hiring, managing, and coaching engineers to build and enhance the platform, ensuring it is scalable, stable, and resilient. This role involves owning the technical vision and architecture, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving the adoption of best practices in engineering design and development. The VP of Engineering will also be expected to collaborate with the senior leadership team on cross-functional initiatives and to own the strategy for continuous improvement in engineering quality and efficiency, particularly in the context of AI technologies and agile methodologies. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in building SaaS cybersecurity products, and a strong background in multi-cloud engineering. The role requires experience in establishing engineering standards for AI-assisted software development, as well as a proven track record in driving the adoption of AI-powered developer tooling and modern engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with Secure SDL best practices, building DevOps/DevSecOps teams, and leading distributed international engineering teams. Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage and scale engineering teams effectively are essential. Technical proficiency in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React) is required, with additional familiarity in Node.js and cloud environments being a plus.
