FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distributing company is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Shipping and Receiving department. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse and forklift experience and willingness to work in a fast paced environment.

Location: CARY, NC

Pay Range: $20/HR - $21.50/HR Schedule: 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM (2ON/2OFF/3ON)

What's the Job?

Load materials into trucks, install strapping & padding to prevent product damage
Transport materials/pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack from one department to another
Assist with staging, banding skids, moving items & cleaning scrap as needed.
Using the computer & MIS system to properly enter inventory records.

What's Needed?

2+ years of sit-down/stand up forklift and electric pallet jack experience.
Minimum of 6 months working in a distribution environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft or warehouse information systems
Ability to lift at least 60lbs throughout shift.
