As an After School Group Leader with Kama'āina Kids , you'll create a safe, positive place where elementary-age children can play, learn, explore, and connect. From outdoor games and STEM challenges to art projects and homework help, you'll keep kids engaged while being a trusted, encouraging adult in their day.

A Schedule That Works With Your Life

Looking for meaningful work without giving up your evenings and weekends?

• Monday-Friday afternoons
• Most shifts: 1:30 PM-5:30 PM
• Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
• No evenings or weekends
• No holiday work

This schedule can be a great fit for college students, aspiring teachers, coaches, retirees, parents returning to work, or anyone looking for rewarding part-time work.
What You'll Do

You'll help turn everyday afternoons into something kids look forward to by:

• Leading games, outdoor play, and recreation
• Planning arts, crafts, STEM, and enrichment activities
• Helping children with homework
• Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior
• Building relationships with children and families
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized program

What We're Looking For:

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for people who are:

• Energetic and enjoy working with elementary-age children
• Dependable, patient, and encouraging
• Comfortable leading activities and keeping kids engaged
• Positive team players
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
