Position Prototype Mechanical Engineer Location: Mossville/Chillicothe (Peoria), Illinois Duration: 12 Months of contract with possible extension Role Support partner engineering teams with rapid design, analysis, and prototype manufacturing of electrified machines and systems. Operate and maintain prototyping machinery including 3D printers, CNC cutting/milling/welding, and electrical cable/harness fabrication. Tasks Aligned with 1 to 3 concurrent prototype project teams assisting with design, build, or test phases. Troubleshooting equipment, tracking prototype inventory, and providing logistics support. Enable prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while working safely and efficiently. Engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing.
