Facilities Clean Team Member

Mount Zion Baptist Church

Job Description

The Mount Zion Facility Clean Team Member is responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the facility or office building. This can entail dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning smudges off windows and doors. Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked.

Shifts : Day, Evenings, Weekends; Part-Time

Responsibilities

Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks, special projects, and church events
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience in housekeeping and hospitality
Ability to handle heavy equipment up to 50 lbs
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
