Physical Therapist – Fort Lauderdale Outpatient Orthopedic Care

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Position: Physical Therapist
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Office Assignment: One office location only
Pay: $50–$55 per hour
Benefits: Full benefits included + 21 days PTO

We are seeking a Physical Therapist in Fort Lauderdale, FL for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy office. This role is designed for a PT who enjoys helping patients recover through structured treatment, guided exercise, hands-on care, and functional movement training.

You will work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, pain-related limitations, weakness, and mobility restrictions. The goal is to help patients improve function and return to daily activities with better movement and control.

Schedule Options:

• 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and determine physical therapy needs
• Create care plans for orthopedic and post-surgical conditions
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehab
• Review patient progress and update treatment plans
• Educate patients on home exercises and recovery strategies
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation
• Coordinate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient care

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist License
• DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
• Outpatient experience required, including clinical outpatient experience for new graduates
