Pharma Production Package Handler
US Tech Solutions
Technician Position
Client is looking for a technician who can work with a small team responsible for manufacturing custom shipping solutions, quality control of our current shipping solutions, and research and design support as needed for manufacturing and shipping to support a new project.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture custom shipping solutions.
- Quality control for our current packing and shipping protocols and SOPs.
- Process packing and shipping returns.
- Maintain packing and shipping inventory.
- Support R&D as needed.
- May be asked to participate in occasional meetings and/or present to project leadership.
Experience:
- Experience in biological sciences or pharmaceutical production.
- Handling and packaging products according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensuring all packaged products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Skills:
- Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a high heat/humidity setting.
- Must be able to lift/move small and moderate-sized equipment repetitively up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work 5-days/week in South San Francisco, including regular weekend and holiday work.
- Shipping.
- Packaging.
- Quality control.
- Inventory management.
- Documentation.
