Position Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Brief Description of Duties Administration Procedures Salary: $90,000-$95,000/annually Dispense prescribed medications Assist in physical examinations of all new enrollees Order all drugs and medical supplies and stores when received Assist Director with monitoring and ordering of medical supplies Document individual charts for all enrollees seen by medical or dental personnel Ensure that all enrollees return for special treatment or medication ordered by a doctor Keep log on all infirmary patients Initiate and Monitor weight improvement programs Work toward meeting position performance goals Follow CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures Maintain good housekeeping in all areas and comply with safety practices. Attend regular scheduled staff meetings Screen and attempt to solve all student problems before referring them to the Health & Wellness Director Model, mentor, monitor appropriate Career Success Standard Help students become more employable through continuous reinforcement Demonstrate and abide by LifeSkills Connection's core values and operating principles Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), LifeSkills Connection's policies and procedures, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures Participate in PRH mandated staff training; Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination Supervise LPN/LVN as directed Perform other duties as assigned Performance Standards/Results Effective Communication Present information both clearly and concisely and regularly confirms correct interpretation of information Very high standard of communication skills, both written and oral for the presentation of facts and ideas Written communication must be clear, concise, easy to read and comprehend Organization of Work Action-oriented; Demonstrate the ability to handle several projects simultaneously with decision making, flexibility, and problem-solving Implement the key principles of time management, task allocation, and priority assignment in addition to personal organization Show attention to detail and the ability to complete work with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency Continually seek ways to improve employment service provided via the development of professional skills and personal growth Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel Experience Minimum of one year experience working with youth Education Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be a certified, licensed, or accredited Registered Nurse in state of employment Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
