Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!Job Summary:The Industrial Generator Field Service Technician 2 is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of gas/diesel engines to ensure their safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled service activities on-site or at customer locations, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.What You Will Do:Support Service CoordinationOrder ProcessingCVA and Service Order ManagementTechnical InformationFinancial ManagementMaintenance and Service ActivitiesTroubleshooting and RepairsDocumentationTrainingCustomer SupportInternal SupportResource ManagementTop Candidates Will Also Have:Safety Qualification: NFPA70E and OSHA10Additional Requirements:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.Valid driver's license and ability to meet background, drug, and medical requirements.Soft Skills: Accuracy, organization, customer service, and used to travel.Physical Demands:Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.Work Environment:Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.Noise Level: Moderate, occasionally severe.Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses.Additional Information:Travel requirement of 70-90% (Local) and 20-30% (Outside local area).Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM - 24/7.Overtime is based on business needs.Company Service Trucks will be assigned to employees based on qualifications and business needs.Position may require Special Government Clearance: Passing a US Government background check may be required as a job requirement.Additional Benefits: Company phone, Company Credit Card, Company Vehicle (including insurance, towing, and personal use) provided.Domestic relocation assistance is not offered for this position.Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.Final Details:This employer is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer, such as H, L, TN, F, J, E, O.
