Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with strategies to manage their mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with PCPs and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients, while maintaining open lines of communication regarding treatment progress.

• Employ the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) to accurately assess mental health disorders and establish appropriate therapeutic goals.

• Document accurate and timely clinical notes in our electronic health record system, utilizing telehealth tools to ensure seamless service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult populations, including individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders. By applying your expertise, you will provide essential support to enhance their mental health as well as their overall quality of life. Our diverse clientele includes veterans and individuals from various cultural backgrounds, so your understanding and sensitivity to diversity will be key in forming effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with psychiatric conditions and/or substance abuse problems.

• Proficiency in using telehealth systems and tools, alongside basic computer skills for documentation and data management.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• Background in collaborative care settings, particularly within a Primary Care environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
