A-Line Staffing is hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Accounts Payable Specialist in Boise, ID!

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support a global invoice processing and finance transformation initiative. This position plays a critical role in implementing new AP processes, improving operational efficiency, supporting system deployments, and ensuring successful adoption of new technologies across international teams.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Finance Operations, or AP transformation , along with experience in ERP implementations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and process improvement.

Accounts Payable Specialist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $42.00/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Accounts Payable Specialist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Required Availability: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Accounts Payable Operations representative throughout global finance transformation and system deployment initiatives.
• Participate in discovery workshops, process reviews, and business requirement discussions with international AP teams.
• Review and document current Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, payment procedures, controls, and exception management.
• Identify and validate country-specific legal, tax, regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Review Process Design Documents (PDDs), business requirements, workflows, and operating procedures to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Evaluate proposed future-state AP processes to identify operational gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, test scripts, and business validation activities.
• Prepare and maintain test data to validate system functionality and real-world AP business requirements.
• Identify system defects, process gaps, usability concerns, and operational risks during testing.
• Collaborate with IT, implementation teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support successful testing.
• Support deployment planning, operational readiness assessments, cutover activities, and go-live preparations.
• Ensure AP users are prepared for new systems, workflows, procedures, and operational responsibilities.
• Provide hands-on business support during system go-live, hypercare, and stabilization periods.
• Investigate, prioritize, escalate, and resolve AP-related issues following system deployment.
• Monitor user adoption, process effectiveness, exception trends, and operational performance.
• Assist with transitioning newly implemented AP processes into standard business operations.
• Collaborate with global Accounts Payable teams, Finance, IT, Change Management, and external technology partners.
• Support process standardization, workflow automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the adoption of intelligent automation, robotic process automation (RPA), and AI-enabled finance solutions.
• Document lessons learned and recommend improvements for future system implementations and international deployments.

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Shared Services, Finance Operations, or AP transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment workflows, approval processes, exception management, and financial controls.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system implementations, deployment activities, or process improvement projects.
• Ability to review business requirements, process documentation, and operational workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple countries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA .
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, invoice processing systems, workflow automation, or finance technology deployments.
• Familiarity with intelligent document processing, robotic process automation (RPA), and AI-enabled financial solutions.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country finance transformation programs.
• Background working in Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environments.
• Experience with system go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and operational readiness activities.
