Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 8-week rotating schedule with 2-3 weekend shifts per period; Call requirements include 7-8 calls per 8-week schedule (1 weekend call, 1-2 weekend shifts, and 2-3 weekday night calls); Call shifts run either 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Holiday coverage required based on assignment period

Highlights:

• Main OR experience across diverse specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedics, Robotics (2 DaVinci XI Robots), Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgery
• 16 operating rooms with average daily census of 35 patients serving adult to geriatric population
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required – this is a hard requirement for consideration
• Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management systems in use
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract; RTO blackout during Spring Break (April 4-12)
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of OR experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience with demonstrated proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Experience with complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedic, neurological, robotic-assisted, and general surgeries
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Full compliance documentation must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date
