Manager, Clinical Operations

Becton Dickinson seeks a Manager, Clinical Operations to lead clinical project management teams overseeing complex, multi-site studies from protocol development through closeout. The role involves team leadership, strategic oversight of clinical programs, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Clinical Project Manager team, ensuring studies meet timelines, quality standards, and deliverables
• Oversee protocol reviews, study documentation, and regulatory compliance across multiple studies
• Provide strategic direction for clinical programs and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support internal audits with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation
• Monitor performance metrics, study milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate execution risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical, or relevant technical field
• Minimum 7 years clinical study experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, IVD, biotechnology, or CRO
• Proven experience leading complex clinical portfolios and cross-functional teams through global multicenter studies
• Hands-on Trial Master File management with knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance standards
• Strong project management skills with financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage vendor/site relationships
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal negotiation abilities
