• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory testing across various disciplineschemistry, hematology, immunology, and otherswhile adhering to established protocols.
• Critically analyze results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or students, and uphold the high standards of laboratory practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, finalized with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within one year of employment.
• Retail the current certification throughout your tenure in this role.
