• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples as required for testing procedures.
• Document all procedures comprehensively, mentor new staff and students, and maintain the highest laboratory standards.
• Ensure a sanitized, secure workplace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
