Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

Central Maine Medical Center , a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care / ICU team in Lewiston, Maine .

Position Highlights

• Full-time role within a multidisciplinary ICU team
• Collaborative environment working alongside intensivists
• Exposure to high-acuity, complex patient care
• Rotating schedule including 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends as needed)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Assist with procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubation support
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications

• PA degree from an accredited program
• Eligible for Maine licensure
• National certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Critical care experience preferred
