Non Registered Technician

$23.43 - $37.22 per hour

Labcorp seeks a Non-Registered Technician for laboratory specimen processing and technical analysis in Seattle. The role involves operating lab instrumentation, evaluating sample acceptability, and performing quality control procedures on a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established laboratory criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental standard operating procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls; process specimens for microbiology testing
Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures; maintain safe work environment

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems preferred
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
Capability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
Flexibility to work overtime and alternative shifts as needed

Compensation: $23.43-$37.22 base plus third shift differential
