This role supports accurate and timely payment processing, maintains customer account records, responds to billing and account inquiries, and partners with sales, coordination, and billing teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies. The Collection Specialist plays an important role in supporting efficient cash flow, maintaining positive customer relationships, and ensuring collection activities are handled accurately and professionally.This is a Hybrid position.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain monthly ageing reports for assigned customer accounts.Monitor outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue customer accounts.Process credit card payment requests for assigned accounts.Respond to client inquiries regarding account informationMaintain up-to-date customer recordsCollaborate with sales, coordination, and billing teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies and support efficient cash flow.Work independently and follow escalation procedures as neededJob Skills Required:Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and other MS Office products.Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility and patience.Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write English to understand and give directions, and to complete paperwork accurately.Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment as dictated by the duties of the job and perform data entry and typing functions.Supervisory Responsibilities:No supervisory responsibilitiesOther Duties & Responsibilities:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
