We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! You will support the finance department with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, helping keep our financial records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping, including entering and maintaining financial transactions in the accounting system
• Process accounts payable, including entering and verifying vendor invoices and preparing payments
• Process accounts receivable, including invoicing, posting payments, and following up on past-due accounts
• Process and record check deposits
• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions
• Review, process, and track company expenses and employee expense reports
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an accounting clerk, bookkeeper, or in a related field
• Experience with AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and expense processing
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Good communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Associate's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
