Job Responsibilities & Strategic Priorities Shape Penn's HR Business Partnership Model Partnering with the CHRO to implement and continuouslystrengthen Penn's enterprise HR Business Partnership model. Building a high-performing community of HR Business Partnersthrough coaching, professional development, and shared leadingpractices. Serving as the senior HR Business Partner for the ExecutiveVice President's portfolio, providing strategic counsel onworkforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership,employee and labor relations, and organizational change. Strengthening Human Resources' reputation by promotingconsultative, data-informed, and client-centered practicesthroughout the HR organization. Advance Client Services Excellence Providing leadership for Penn's client services organization,including the continued evolution of the HR Solution Center. Establishing service standards, governance, and performanceexpectations that promote consistency, accountability, andoperational excellence. Integrating the work of HR Business Partners, Centers ofExcellence, and operational teams to deliver integrated HRsolutions. Championing innovation and operational excellence bysimplifying processes, leveraging technology, and identifyingopportunities to enhance the client experience. Promoting a culture in which service excellence is viewed notsimply as responsiveness, but as the delivery of strategic value tothe University community. Build Organizational Capability Partnering with the CHRO Developing leaders Representing HR Organizational consulting Advancing use of analytics Qualifications & Leadership Profile Required Experience The successful candidate will bring a record of executive HRleadership in complex organizations and a demonstrated ability tobuild trusted partnerships, lead organizational change, and advanceenterprise HR performance. Specifically, candidates should possess: A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,Organizational Development, or a related field and at least tenyears of progressively responsible HR leadership experience,including leadership of enterprise HR Business Partner, clientservices, shared services, or comparable strategic HR functions (orequivalent combination of education and experience isrequired). Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives toaddress organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy,leadership, and complex employee issues. Experience leading and developing high-performing HR teamswithin large, highly matrixed, and decentralizedorganizations. Broad knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, with theability to integrate strategic priorities with effective servicedelivery and workforce solutions. Demonstrated success leading organizational change, buildingorganizational capability, and fostering collaboration acrossdiverse stakeholder groups. Strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability toinfluence, build consensus, and navigate complexity with soundjudgment. Experience leveraging workforce analytics, operational metrics,and data-informed insights to improve organizational effectivenessand decision-making. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, andleadership skills, with the ability to establish credibility andtrust across all levels of the organization. Preferred Experience SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable professional certification. Experience within higher education, academic medicine,healthcare, or another large, mission-driven, decentralizedorganization. Experience leading HR transformation, organizationaleffectiveness, or enterprise service delivery initiatives. Familiarity with Workday and modern HR technologies thatsupport workforce analytics, employee experience, and servicedelivery.
