Job Title: HR Specialist
Location: Burbank, CA (Onsite M-TH – Friday - Remote)
Job Duration: 2-3 Month Contract
Client/Job ID: Disney - 2099-1
Compensation: $30 - $34.48 Hourly on W2.
Primary Skills:
- 2+ years of HR or related experience
- Experience with HR systems (Workday or SAP)
- Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Open to learning new tools and technologies as systems continue to evolve.
Preferred:
- Media/entertainment industry experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in advising and providing guidance in the administration of HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
- In partnership with HR Operations, support onboarding and offboarding activities. Partner with leaders and employees as needed, with special attention to sensitive situations (e.g., involuntary separation).
- Support HRBP team (6-7 HRBPs) in reporting and data collection, including compensation planning, talent calibration, and performance reviews. Maintain accurate client org charts, headcount, and staff augmentation reports, where applicable.
- Organize HR practices, stay updated on policy changes, and continuously improve processes.
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with HR partners and key stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and stay updated with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Ability to work with multiple HR teams across different business units and brands.
