RF / Analog Design Engineer Westlake Village, CA. Hybrid Remote. $150,000 – $225,000 / year + Bonus + Full Benefits + Paid relocation + Stock Equity Seeking an RF and Analog Design Engineer to develop multi‑ten‑GHz Transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) tightly coupled with our high‑performance equalizers. Our innovative designs make our TIAs best‑in‑class for coherent long‑haul, metro, and PAM4 data‑center systems. Responsibilities Active circuit design and technical leadership. Lead-edge transimpedance amplifier design, primarily in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS technology, exceeding industry leading performance. Develop transmission‑line and millimeter‑wave structures to enable higher performance. Design high‑performance broadband analog circuits for optical front‑end receivers. Design additional analog circuits including linear regulators, AGC loop, current/voltage sensors, bandgaps, etc. Develop microarchitecture of major circuit blocks and guide the design team to implement them across SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS technologies. Collaborate with functional groups to facilitate post‑silicon validation, qualification, mass‑production transition, and customer support. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design with 10–15 years of experience, or MSc/PhD EE with 5+ years of experience in the same focus. Proven IC design experience, including chip tape‑out and lab evaluation of receiver designs in the industry. Solid experience using EDA CAD tools and performing Analog Custom Layout. Experience measuring IC performance and debugging designs to correlate simulations with measurements. Deep understanding of fundamentals: transistor‑level design, device physics, control/feedback loop stability analysis. Project experience in AGC loop design, high‑precision analog circuits (linear regulators, current sensors, bandgaps, DAC/ADC), CTLE design, and package‑system integration issues. Experience with different technologies (SiGe BiCMOS is a plus). Team‑player with strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Overseeing and mentoring junior circuit designers, leading chips to silicon and mass production, translating chip‑level specifications into architecture are strong pluses. Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design with 10–15 years of experience. Or MSc/PhD EE with 5+ years of experience in the same focus. Compensation The starting base pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
