Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, subsystem level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and characterization. Analysis tasks include circuit modeling, simulation and analysis as well as signal and power integrity analyses on PCB design.This position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active US Government Secret Clearance.Basic Qualifications for a Principal Analog Design Engineer:Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 0 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields- Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulationU.S. Citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain or maintain and US Government Secret Security ClearanceExperience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulationExperience with schematic capture in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium DesignerExperience with circuit and sub-system test and troubleshootingAbility to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CAPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Printed Circuit Board design using Mentor Xpedition Designer and AMSExperience with HyperLynx Signal and Power Integrity analysesPSpice circuit design analysesExperience Design verification and testMSEE with emphasis in Analog Circuit DesignAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsLink to Benefits: positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
