Position: Patient Service Coordinator
Location: Greenville, SC 29607
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Must-Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a Patient Service Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, or Front Desk role within a healthcare setting
- Prior experience supporting referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients while providing excellent customer service
- Verify demographics, insurance information, referrals, and authorizations
- Collect copays and outstanding balances
- Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and ancillary services
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic
- Support front office operations including scanning, faxing, and record management
