We are seeking an experienced A Level Generator Field Service Technician in Northern Jersey areas for our Power Generation Client!!

Pay is $42 - $50/hr depending on experience, plus steady overtime (techs average about 55 hours a week, paid after 40), full benefits, and sign-on bonuses at many of our employers.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, plus an on-call rotation for emergency service.

If you can troubleshoot megawatt class gen sets, transfer switches, and generator controls, you are in demand right now, and the pay reflects it.

What you will do:

• Diagnose, repair, and commission diesel and gas generator sets from small standby units through 2MW and larger
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches, generator controls, and switchgear
• Run startups, load bank testing, and site acceptance on new installations
• Keep accurate service records and get critical sites back online fast

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years on industrial generators, or heavy-duty diesel with strong electrical controls depth
• Comfortable inside switchgear and control panels, reading prints and schematics
• Factory training on Kohler, Cummins, Cat, MTU, or Generac, EGSA certification a plus
• Your own hand tools, valid driver license, willing to carry an on-call rotation
