We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support civil litigation matters. This contract position is ideal for someone who can manage case activity efficiently, coordinate deadlines, and contribute to trial readiness in a fast-paced legal environment. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on personal injury and medical malpractice matters while maintaining organized, accurate case documentation. Qualified candidates will be considered for the role on a temp to perm basis.

Responsibilities :

• Organize and maintain litigation files, ensuring records, pleadings, and supporting documents remain current and easy to access.

• Assist attorneys with discovery activities, including preparing responses, tracking requests, and managing document production.

• Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits, coordinating materials, and helping attorneys stay prepared for hearings and court proceedings.

• Use case management systems to monitor deadlines, update matter status, and keep case information accurate throughout the litigation process.

• Coordinate scheduling for depositions, meetings, hearings, and other case-related events with internal and external parties.

• Review, label, and manage large volumes of documents, including Bates stamping and maintaining production records.

• Gather, organize, and summarize medical, legal, and case-related records for personal injury and medical malpractice matters.

• Communicate with attorneys, clients, experts, and outside parties to help move cases forward efficiently.

• Prior experience supporting civil litigation matters as a paralegal.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes, trial preparation, and litigation document management.
• Experience handling personal injury and/or medical malpractice case files.
• Proficiency with case management software and general legal technology tools.
• Ability to manage records accurately, maintain organized files, and handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong scheduling and coordination skills with close attention to deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a legal setting.
