Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for these patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. Additionally, the therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves.

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Participate in student programs as appropriate, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and participation in professional activities.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific standards and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure is required.
