As Finance Director , you will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial controls, reporting, and performance management while helping shape the next phase of the organisation's evolution.

The Opportunity

As Finance Director , you will work directly with the CFO to design and scale the finance organisation, strengthen reporting and financial governance, and embed performance discipline across the business. This role combines technical controllership leadership, commercial finance partnership, and transformation ownership, giving you real visibility and influence at senior level.

As Finance Director you'll:

• Lead financial close, reporting, controls, and audit readiness.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Strengthen reporting accuracy, governance, and financial discipline.
• Support standalone readiness and finance function build-out.
• Partner with operations to drive cost optimisation and performance improvement.
• Build and develop a growing finance team.

The successful Finance Director will have:

• CPA-qualified finance leader with strong controllership experience.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, energy, chemicals, or similarly operational sectors preferred.
• Experience improving reporting accuracy, controls, and financial governance.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to influence operational leaders.
• Experience building or scaling finance teams is highly valued.
• Private equity or carve-out / M&A exposure beneficial but not required.
• Build a finance organisation from the ground up.
• High-visibility leadership role with a clear progression path to CFO.
• Strong compensation package including 30% bonus.
