Rehab Technician - $29-38 per hour

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Rehab Technician (Patient Care Technician) in Hamtramck, Michigan. Job Overview This patient‑care support role involves assisting patients with daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and providing critical support to nursing staff. The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour shifts, and is staffed on a night schedule. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities. Transport patients, specimens, and supplies to and from treatment areas. Coordinate with registered nurses, following their delegation of tasks. Report deviations from expected patient parameters to the supervising nurse. Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient care areas. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Completion of one of the following: a Certified PCA/PCT Program, a Certified Nurse Assistant Program, a Medical Assistant Program, an EMT program, or a phlebotomy training program. At least two years of inpatient patient‑care associate or tech experience. Six months of direct patient‑care experience preferred.
