We're Hiring at Healthy Learning Academy! Join Our Early Learning Team!

Location: Gallatin Valley YMCA, Bozeman, MT

Part-Time Opening Teacher - Up to 25 Hours/Week

Schedule: Opening shift, typically 7:15 AM-12:15 PM , with a maximum of 25 hours per week. Additional hours and opportunities for growth may be available for the right candidate based on program needs, availability, performance, and interest.

Opening Teacher - Key Responsibilities

• Help open the Healthy Learning Academy each morning and prepare the classroom for the day.
• Support the Lead Teacher with classroom routines, curriculum, and daily activities.
• Provide warm, responsive care and supervision for children.
• Encourage positive social-emotional development, language, literacy, and healthy habits.
• Assist with meals, transitions, diapering/toileting, and other daily care needs as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with classroom staff and families.
• Follow all YMCA, Healthy Learning Academy, and Montana childcare licensing policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a positive experience for every child.

Requirements


Requirements:

• Background check & fingerprinting required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Enthusiasm for early childhood education and teamwork!

Experience in licensed early learning settings is preferred, but we welcome individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

Salary Description


$17.00-$19.00/hour
