Duties

• Prepare and review customs entries, declarations, and related documentation in accordance with international trade regulations and company policies
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements for import activities
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to facilitate smooth clearance processes
• Conduct Excel data analysis to track shipment statuses, identify discrepancies, and generate detailed reports for management
• Oversee customs clearance management by verifying documentation accuracy and ensuring timely submission of required paperwork
• Assist in risk management by identifying potential compliance issues and implementing corrective actions proactively

Skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations, and trade compliance laws including OFAC guidelines
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, freight handling, and transportation management systems
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance management, export/import management, and customs clearance procedures
• Technical proficiency with Excel for data analysis, report writing, and managing large datasets efficiently
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements related to international trade activities
• Ability to manage import/export documentation accurately while adhering to strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners involved in freight and fleet management
