Our client, a growing private equity-backed company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join its finance team. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with finance leadership and operational teams to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and business insights that support the continued growth of the organization.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an important role in the company's budgeting and forecasting processes while analyzing financial and operational performance, identifying trends, and helping leadership better understand the key drivers of the business. Key Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including **budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis**.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, margins, and other key financial and operational drivers.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, strategic initiatives, and business decisions.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
• Track and analyze KPIs and operating metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with management and private equity reporting, including recurring financial and operational performance packages.
• Work cross-functionally with Accounting and other departments to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience**.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and the relationship between the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, planning, or business intelligence systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of financial and operational data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
