As an on-site Physical Therapist, you will work closely with other specialists, creating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough patient evaluations, utilizing standardized assessment tools to identify functional limitations, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices aimed at improving patient mobility, alleviating pain, and restoring function. This may include therapies such as hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.Deliver patient education on techniques for injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health and wellness.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols, ensuring continuity of care and the ability to modify treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.Collaborate with a comprehensive healthcare team, including orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals, to create seamless care pathways that enhance overall patient outcomes.Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily serve individuals seeking outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes patients recovering from surgeries, such as joint replacements or ligament repairs, as well as those suffering from chronic pain conditions or sports-related injuries. Creating a welcoming and encouraging environment for diverse patient backgrounds is paramount to our approach, emphasizing compassion and effective communication with every individual.QualificationsA current and valid Physical Therapy License in New York State is required.A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution is mandatory.A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, we encourage new graduates with strong clinical internships to apply.Experience with therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and a background in patient education and rehabilitation is advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
