Regional Account Manager-Eastern Midwest Region

PTC Therapeutics seeks a Regional Account Manager to represent rare disease and neurological products across the Eastern Midwest. The role involves managing pharmaceutical sales operations, building healthcare provider relationships, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets in compliance while contributing to metabolism business unit success
- Implement marketing strategies for neurology and Fabry disease products across multiple timeframes
- Develop partnerships with physicians and healthcare facilities to understand needs and optimize patient care
- Identify treatment centers and collaborate with stakeholders to support product access and reimbursement
- Cultivate relationships with thought leaders and disease-focused advocacy groups in assigned region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; life sciences, business, or healthcare preferred
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales experience
- Minimum 3 years rare disease, orphan drug, or specialty pharma sales experience
- Proven track record exceeding sales targets and growing territories
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic business plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and active insurance policy
Compensation: $186,500-$234,800 base salary
