Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes
• Interpret telemetry readings and respond to alarms
• Manage and care for patients with chest tubes
• Assist patients with respiratory support devices such as CPAP and BiPAP
• Administer blood products safely and effectively
• Provide care for patients with central lines, including PICC lines and ports
• Manage and titrate IV drips, including Cardizem and Heparin
• Administer Amiodarone drips as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
• Float to all Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units
• Float to ED Hold

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) License
