Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire an experienced Part‑time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to service a skilled nursing facility in Columbus, GA. Provider Duties Serves as the primary care provider for long‑ and short‑term residents, assessing patients through visits, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories. Provides team‑based care by collaborating with the medical attending/physician and nursing home staff to deliver the highest standard of care attainable. Builds relationships with residents and families, educates them, and formulates evidence‑based care plans that align with the patients’ needs and desires. Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future changes, enforcing adherence, and advising management on necessary actions. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and ensuring standards align with the organization’s core values of respect, professionalism, and sensitivity to cultural, personal, and religious beliefs. Ensures charting, documentation, and care administration are up to date, timely, and efficient. Requirements Health Promotion and Maintenance, Thoroughness, Clinical Skills, Informing Others, Medical Teamwork, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management, Self‑Development Must be Board Certified Extensive training will be offered.
