Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical evaluations and an in-depth review of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of lab results and imaging studies
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide support during surgical operations by preparing the operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently handing off surgical tools
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures

Certification Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or future eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
