A busy outpatient specialty practice in Brooklyn is looking for an experienced  Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)to provide high-quality gastrointestinal care in a collaborative clinical setting.

We're seeking a motivated provider who is confident evaluating and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients. What You'll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment recommendations as appropriate.
• Monitor patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using an electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure efficient, patient-focused care.

What We're Looking For

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current national certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical gastroenterology experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to manage patients independently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
