What You'll Do As Executive Chef, you'll oversee every aspect of the kitchen operation while inspiring your team to execute at the highest level. Your responsibilities include: Lead all food preparation and daily culinary operations. Develop, refine, and execute menus that exceed guest expectations while meeting company quality standards. Manage food, labor, and operating costs to achieve financial goals. Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team. Create a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and excellence. Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution. Approve every dish leaving the kitchen and ensure it meets company standards. Oversee inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Manage scheduling, payroll, administrative responsibilities, and kitchen performance. Resolve operational challenges quickly while maintaining a positive, professional environment. What We're Looking For 5+ years of proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a HIGH-VOLUME restaurant. Exceptional leadership and kitchen management skills. Strong understanding of food, labor, and inventory cost controls. Ability to lead multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills. Passion for culinary innovation while maintaining operational consistency. Working knowledge of restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred. Mexican/Latin cuisine experience is a plus.
