Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:30.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing respiratory care and support to patients in a critical access facility. This position may require floating to an alternate facility approximately 25 minutes away and includes responsibilities across multiple units.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Provide emergency care, including intubation assistance and extubation.
• Manage tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform patient assessments and maintain comprehensive clinical records in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must hold a current Washington state or compact respiratory therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy; experience in critical care and emergency departments preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
